The World Health Organization (WHO) is seeking experts to serve as members of the WHO-UNICEF Technical Expert Advisory group on nutrition Monitoring (TEAM). The TEAM serves as an advisory body for WHO and UNICEF on how to improve the quality of nutrition monitoring at all levels.

The TEAM serves as a joint advisory body for WHO and UNICEF, providing guidance on strengthening nutrition monitoring at all levels. The group facilitates knowledge sharing and promotes consistent standards, tools, and approaches across relevant sectors. It also identifies research needs related to monitoring initiatives and communicates them to appropriate partners.

Who can express interest?

The TEAM will be multidisciplinary, with members who have a range of technical knowledge, skills, and experience relevant to broad range of disciplines relevant to Nutrition Monitoring. Expressions of interest are welcome from scientists, healthcare professionals, and healthcare regulators/policymakers with expertise in one or more of the following:

· Nutrition epidemiology
· Nutrition biomarkers
· Anthropometry
· Nutrition monitoring/surveillance and information systems
· Nutrition intervention coverage
· Diet-related non-communicable diseases
· School-age children and adolescent nutrition
· Statistics
· Medicine
· Public health
· Food security
· Food systems
· Implementation science
· Economics
